Director
With over 25 years of experience in the Disability and Community Services sector, Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and leadership to her work. She has spent her career supporting adults and young people with lived experience of mental health challenges and other complex needs.
Having worked extensively in both direct support roles and in leadership positions overseeing mental health services on the Sunshine Coast, Melissa has a deep understanding of the local service landscape and how to help participants make the most of the supports available. Through her work in Psychosocial Recovery Coaching and Support Coordination, Melissa empowers individuals to: Understand their NDIS plan, navigate and connect with supports, build confidence and independence, work toward their goals and live their best life
Melissa is known for being friendly, reliable, and approachable, easily forming strong, supportive connections with both participants and stakeholders. Her strengths lie in helping others explore their choices, access meaningful opportunities, and take steps toward recovery and community engagement.
