Director
With over 25 years’ experience in the Disability and Community Services sector, Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and leadership to her work. Throughout her career, she has supported adults and young people with lived experience of mental health challenges and other complex needs.
Melissa has worked extensively in both direct support and leadership roles, overseeing mental health services across the Sunshine Coast. This experience has given her a strong understanding of the local service landscape and how to help participants make the most of the supports available to them.
Through her work in Psychosocial Recovery Coaching and Support Coordination, Melissa empowers individuals to understand their NDIS plans, navigate and connect with supports, build confidence and independence, and work toward meaningful goals that support a fulfilling life.
Known for being friendly, reliable, and approachable, Melissa easily forms strong, supportive relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders. Her strengths lie in helping people explore their choices, access meaningful opportunities, and take practical steps toward recovery, capacity building, and community engagement.
